Project lead opportunity working on some of the most exciting Renewable Energy projects in the country
**Your new company**
You will be working for an international renewable energy organisation that have just been awarded one of the largest renewable energy projects in the world. They have recently entered the Australian market and are looking to be one of the key players in Australia's energy transition. This organisation has been experiencing record growth over the last few years and predict they will double in size once again next year. With offices is both Melbourne and Sydney already, this revolutionary company specialises in providing renewable energy solutions to mega scale projects.
**Your new role**
As the Project Success Executive, you will be responsible for leading the engagement to ensure the successful deployment of first engagement solutions, as well as the repeat deployment of future solutions. This role is a hybrid of customer relationship management, sales engineering, and project management. You will collaborate closely with customers to develop world-class projects and establish lasting relationships. Act as the project lead in partnership with Product Engineering and Management, Commercial Team, Sales Engineering, Project Engineering, Project Coordination, and Product Commissioning to drive the design and development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects with key customers.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or real-world product solution delivery experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 10 years in either energy storage, distributed generation, data centre equipment, or large-scale electrical equipment.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing management role, capable of managing complex customer environments and understanding complex product definition and delivery processes.
- Demonstrated experience in Technical Sales or Customer Account Management.
- Track record of success in contract and scope negotiation, customer requirements definition, and project development.
- Experience in responding to and winning utility or large-scale customer Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and works with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. PMP or an equivalent certification is a plus.
- Position based in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.
