Role Summary:
This is a highly specialized role that requires an advanced level of technical expertise in Windows Server administration. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with key technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, File and Print, DFS, and Group Policy Management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Windows Server Administration: Responsible for managing and maintaining Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and high availability.
* System Monitoring and Patching: Utilize Microsoft System Centre products and Intune to monitor and patch systems, guaranteeing up-to-date security and stability.
* Cyber Security Tools and Methodologies: Implement and manage cyber security tools and methodologies, including application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and device control, to protect against emerging threats.
Requirements:
* Azure Infrastructure Experience: Manage Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) servers, including template deployment, user and resource administration.
* Cyber Security Knowledge: Possess understanding of Australian Government Cyber Security requirements, processes, and artefacts, including ISM, Essential 8, and ACSC hardening guides.
* Documentation Skills: Develop strong skills in writing technical documentation, including SOPs and design documentation.
* PAM Solutions: Implement and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk.
Additional Requirements:
* Must be an Australian Citizen.
* Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance.
