About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on field work with helpdesk support in a dynamic industrial environment.
You will be working directly with our IT Manager to maintain and expand our technology infrastructure across a modern meat processing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line helpdesk support to staff across production and office environments
* Install and configure networking equipment, PCs, printers, and industrial IT systems
* Carry out physical infrastructure work including cable running, equipment mounting, and installations in processing areas
* Support the maintenance of SCADA systems and industrial networks
* Conduct equipment labelling, documentation, and asset management
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Requirements:
* Proven experience in IT with strong networking and helpdesk fundamentals
* Comfortable working in an industrial environment – this includes climbing in roof spaces, working at heights, and exposure to processing conditions
* Able to work independently as a hands-on problem solver
