About This Opportunity
The Data Analyst role at Tcn-The-Card-Network supports our Business Operations team across Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position will be responsible for assisting with several applications.
This role involves conducting in-depth research and reporting using Microsoft Excel extensively. Additionally, it requires maintaining and improving the company's Power BI reporting framework.
Responsibilities:
* Create executive-level reports on all aspects of IPC services, including trend analysis, cost-benefit/ROI analysis, and forecasting.
* Maintain self-service dashboards for business teams using BI software.
* Assist in developing reports for easy analysis of key information.
* Design, maintain, and interpret basic operational reports to monitor both retailer and manufacturer activity.
* Analyze past results to report cost benefits and performance improvements.
* Query, interpret, evaluate, and interrelate transactional data, presenting findings to internal management and external customers.
* Monitor high-transaction databases to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
* Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed.
* Interact with internal and external peers and managers to share complex information related to their area of expertise.
* Act as a liaison between the business and IT.
* Work with clients to extract project/reporting requirements.
* Assist with forecasts and projections for executive planning.
Qualifications:
* Minimum two years' experience in business information systems and process analysis required, with strong data analysis skills and data process modeling skills.
* Undergraduate degree in Data Science, MIS, Math/Statistics, Business, or equivalent.
* Experience developing reports for end-users (Excel, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).
* Experience with SQL, Oracle, or Postgres preferred.
* Python experience is a plus.
* Power BI dashboard development experience is required.
* Oracle PL/SQL experience is a plus.
* Previous experience in evaluating ROI, forecasting, and trend analysis is a plus.
* Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal communications to all levels of management.
* Project management skills, including managing multiple projects, defining project scopes, and establishing and maintaining project timelines.
* Understanding of manufacturing and retail relationships as it relates to reverse logistics is preferred.
* Knowledge of data transfer methods is preferred (XML, etc.).
