Accounts Coordinator – Finance & HR – Fashion

Location: Sydney – parking available.
Salary: $80k–$90k + super (negotiable based on experience).
Working arrangements: hybrid, 2 days WFH.

Responsibilities
Accounts Management: Oversee invoices, payments, and reconciliations (Bank, PayPal, Shopify), ensuring accuracy and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Reporting & Compliance: Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, BAS, FBT, and fixed asset register maintenance.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes and handle multi-currency and foreign exchange transactions.
Financial Process Improvement: Contribute to refining financial systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, commissions, and manage leave liabilities and related reporting.
HR Support: Draft contracts, maintain HR records, assist with onboarding, reviews, and monitor staff leave entitlements.
Requirements
Experience in finance, accounts, or coordination roles.
Exposure to fashion, retail, or creative industries.
Proficient in Excel and Xero; experience with Harmony is a plus.
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Strong communication skills and comfortable in small, agile teams.
Finance-related qualifications desirable; full Australian working rights required.
