This 12-week internship provides hands-on experience in safety protocols, risk assessments, and quality assurance, developing deep skills in testing, QA, risk management, and process improvement.
Electrical Safety Engineering Internship Roles and Responsibilities:
* Develop System Safety Assurance Plans and implement processes from concept to completion
* Manage hazard logs and risk registers for recording hazards/risks associated with project scope
* Facilitate Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) systems under senior Safety Engineers' supervision
* Coordinate with site engineers and officers, assisting in procurement, project planning, supervision, and testing
What You'll Learn During Your Electrical Safety Engineering Internship:
* Gain comprehensive knowledge of State-based Safety regulations covering Electrical products
* Acquire hands-on experience in electrical safety compliance, including safety assurance, lifecycle support, and services support
* Review application documents against applicable Electrical Standards (AS/NZS/IEC)
* Conduct Safety/Risk assessments
