The Acquired Injury Support Services team within Anglicare Tasmania are looking for someone with a genuine desire to provide the best quality care for people with disabilities. We are seeking a like minded individual to join our exceptional support team who exemplify Anglicare Tasmania’s values of hope, compassion, justice and respect. 
Role 
Acquired Injury Support Worker 
Anglicare’s Acquired Injury Support Workers provide direct care and support to clients to ensure that their individual needs are met. Anglicare uses a person-centred approach to assist and support clients to live a full life. The aim is to help clients develop additional skills in line with their goals and support plan. 
Responsibilities 
- Personal care (showering, grooming and dressing) 
- Medication administration 
- Meal preparation 
- Transport 
- Purchases 
- Social support 
- Record keeping and reporting 
Qualifications and Requirements 
- Australian Residency status or valid Australian working rights 
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability), or currently working towards one 
- Experience in the Disability Industry 
- Current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence and an insured, reliable motor vehicle 
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration 
- National Police Check (Working with vulnerable people) 
Key 
- Successful applicants are required to have an Anglicare Tasmania assessed medical before commencement 
- On commencement, successful applicants will undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program
