About the Opportunity
The cardiology fellowship is a premier training opportunity for interventional cardiologists. The program provides a comprehensive and engaging learning experience, with fellows expected to gain significant hands-on experience in cardiac interventions.
Located in Perth's south metropolitan region, this tertiary hospital is the largest public cardiology service provider in Western Australia. With over 1000 coronary interventions performed annually, fellows will have ample opportunities to hone their skills and participate fully in the interventional program.
Fellows are encouraged to present cases and attend multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. Furthermore, they will be actively involved in the weekly journal club and monthly state-based educational program.
This position offers excellent professional development opportunities, including study leave assistance as outlined in the relevant industrial agreement. Fellows are also strongly encouraged to undertake research programs during their fellowship and present at both local and international conferences.
