Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting our continued growth. This position will oversee financial operations, reporting, and analysis while working closely with senior management to drive strategic decision-making across our diverse coffee business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management payroll
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis processes
Coordinate audit processes and Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including BAS lodgements
Analyse financial performance across multiple revenue streams (wholesale, cafe operations & online e-commerce)
Support inventory management and cost analysis for coffee bean procurement and roasting operations
Assist with strategic planning and business development initiatives
Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
Supervise and mentor junior finance team members
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or CA qualification preferred
Minimum 5 years of finance management experience, ideally in retail, hospitality, or manufacturing
Advanced proficiency in NetSuite ERP system (essential)
Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Experience with multi-location businesses preferred
Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting principles
