The opportunity
As a Senior Consultant in EY's Risk Consulting practice, you will work with a variety of public and private sector clients, supporting them in the evaluation and improvement of their key strategic, operational, compliance and financial related risks and controls.
This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth.
Your key responsibilities
* Support the delivery of internal audit engagements by performing process walkthroughs, controls testing, data analytics and preparing reports.
* Assess the client's current state processes and controls, identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve process efficiency, effectiveness and business performance.
* Work across multiple client accounts with engagement teams comprised of high performing individuals with a variety of skill and expertise.
* Develop skills and experience in the professional practice of internal audit and broader risk consulting.

* Apply a structured and diligent approach to project management and documentation, with a demonstrated understanding of risk-based auditing methodologies.
* Desire to support the evolution of the internal audit profession through innovative techniques underpinned by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
* Prior experience as an internal auditor, risk analyst or similar role in a large public, private or professional services organisation.
