Overview
SA Power Networks need an experienced Business Analyst in the Enterprise Delivery team to work on projects that support the operational technology used to control and support the electrical distribution network, such as the upgrade to the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). Initial contract is for 12 months, with likely extension for the right candidate, subject to performance and further investment approvals.
Core Business Analyst Skills
* Core BA skills, such as data analysis in Excel, facilitating workshops, requirements gathering, benefits identification and realisation.
* Soft skills, such as those required to effectively communicate complex concepts in layperson terms and to appropriately manage stakeholder expectations.
* As is process capture and to be process design.
* Lean process improvement to identify areas of waste or areas of a process that can be improved.
* Working in an agile environment, whilst not necessarily implementing an Agile methodology.
* Project establishment and closure activities, such as problem identification/definition, development of business cases, identification of project budgets, and operational handover support including development of associated documentation.
Must Have Experience
* Utilities, mining or other similar sectors
* Safety critical projects involving engineering personnel
* Awareness or experience working around Operational Technology
* Challenging stakeholders
* Scope management vs benefits/value
