About the Role
We're on the lookout for a detail-driven Financial Controller to take ownership of financial operations and help the business gain clearer visibility over the numbers that matter. This isn't a "fill the seat yesterday" kind of hire — we're genuinely focused on finding the right person who brings the right experience, the right mindset, and the right fit for the team.
You'll play a key role in managing accounts receivable, generating and reviewing monthly financial reports, and identifying areas where the business may be losing money or underperforming.
What You'll Be Doing
* Accounts Receivable Management — Overseeing the full AR process, ensuring invoices are accurate, issued on time, and followed up diligently to maintain healthy cash flow
* Financial Reporting — Generating monthly financial reports and running ad hoc reports as required to support business decision‐making
* Financial Analysis & Review — Reviewing reports with a critical eye to identify revenue leakage, cost overruns, margin erosion, and missed opportunities
* Budget & Forecasting Support — Assisting leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Process Improvement — Identifying inefficiencies in financial workflows and recommending improvements
* Compliance & Accuracy — Ensuring all financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations
* Stakeholder Communication — Presenting financial insights to management in a clear, actionable way
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Accountant, or similar role
* Exceptional attention to detail — You don't just run the numbers, you question them
* Strong accounts receivable experience — This is a significant part of the role
* Solid reporting skills — Comfortable generating, interpreting, and presenting financial reports
* Analytical mindset — Able to look beyond the surface to identify where the business is leaking money or missing the mark
* Proficiency with accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets
* Strong communication skills — Able to translate financial data into plain‐language insights for non‐finance stakeholders
* Self‐motivated and proactive — Someone who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be asked
