About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About Edinburgh Health Centre
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16-bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday–Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts)

Make an impact at Serco
You will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals on site to contribute to positive mental health outcomes for the Australian Defence Force personnel at Edinburgh Health Centre. We have multiple roles available, with shifts Monday to Friday weekly, 7:30 am - 3.30 pm.
As a Psychologist, you’ll make a positive impact by:
* Performing intake assessments and risk assessments
* Providing crisis intervention
* Planning case formulation and treatment planning
* Providing programmatic treatment interventions
* Planning care coordination
* Assisting with medication management
* Conducting group psycho-education
To be successful in this role, you’ll have the following:
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a general Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate Experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting, undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule
Please Note:
* You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
* You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on base, and your job stays here, even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
