Store Manager Job Description
We are seeking a Store Manager to oversee our retail operations on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a diverse and hands-on role for someone who is passionate about customer service, has great operational and people skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Manage customer inquiries, sales management, in-store sales and services to optimize sales opportunities;
* Provide products and services to customers while maintaining the stability and reputation of the store;
* Enforce and maintain quality and customer service standards;
* Drive growth through business-to-business selling and service;
* Manage site operations and drive continuous improvement;
* Resolve quality and customer problems, identify market trends, and offer strategic solutions;
* Contribute to local area marketing concepts and business improvement strategies;
* Be responsible for inventory management, stock takes, daily reconciliation, banking, and other administrative duties;
* Manage staff work scheduling and prioritize customer needs efficiently;
* Maintain a clean and safe operating area.
About You:
* Proven leadership and people management skills;
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle conflicting priorities;
* Strong customer service and communication skills;
* Previous sales/retail experience in the auto and/or camping sector;
* Ability to operate autonomously, be self-motivated, and flexible;
* Hold a current manual driver's license.
You will have an advantage if you also possess:
* Auto electrical/mechanical trade qualification;
* Experience in batteries.
