About the role Permanent full time opportunity to provide the services as needed to support the delivery of the Building Services required to maintain service delivery capability of the facilities represented.

About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Work in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act, the Health Services Act and local guidelines to safeguard the interests of Queensland Health and its employees.
This position is responsible for ensuring all work packages are delivered in a manner satisfying all required Workplace Health and Safety requirements including the MNH Safety Management Plan and all safe systems of work.
Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices including Code of Conduct.
Manage own leave balances to ensure at all times that Annual Leave entitlements held do not surpass 6 weeks of accrued leave without approval from the Manager BEMS.
Maintain personal licences and any assigned annual training requirements, to ensure that they are always current.
Complete and maintain current status in all required training including face to face and online training.
Position will be required to work a mix of inside core hours service delivery, outside core hours delivery and rotating on call 24/7 roster to meet the requirements of the facilities.
