We have an opportunity for an experienced
Team Leader
to join our
Electrical team
. Reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor, the
Electrical Team Leader
will lead our Electrical trades personnel for planned maintenance and co-ordinate daily activities to minimise downtime and maximise fibre recovery.
This is a full-time permanent position, and you will need to be available for a dayshift, 50 hours per week roster. You will also need to be available for planned maintenance shutdowns as scheduled.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Mentoring, coaching, and supporting electrical team members to ensure safety, productivity and quality of work, in accordance with AS/NZS **** and site procedures.
Assisting with Electrical Planning & scheduling.
Providing feedback to the Electrical Supervisor and Maintenance Planners on the progress of work, each shift.
Taking a hands-on approach by assisting electricians to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Identifying hazards and opportunities for improvement by creating safety documentation, work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
Reviewing Take 2's and JHA's in the field to ensure your team conducts their work safely and in accordance with statutory and Wespine policies.
Ensuring the work environment is kept in a clean and tidy state.
Provide leave coverage for the Electrical Supervisor as and when required.
Current Requirements:
Current Western Australian Electrical Worker's Licence (unrestricted)
Experience with PLC's
Experience in manufacturing, timber processing or similar industrial environment preferred
Safety first mindset
Proven leadership and supervisory experience and skills
Great verbal and written communication skills
Experience with maintenance management systems (SAP, MEX or similar) preferred
Low Voltage Rescue & CPR training
High Voltage Switching Qualification
High Risk Work licences - Forklift, EWP
Ideally hold Working at Heights and Confined space licences
Current West Australian Drivers' Licence
