About the Role
Support the delivery of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents by providing high-quality cleaning and infection control services. You'll play a key role in maintaining hygiene standards across resident rooms and communal areas, contributing to the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of those in your care.
Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning across resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and kitchens.
* Ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitised in line with infection control standards.
* Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
* Manage waste disposal and maintain cleaning supplies.
* Work collaboratively across teams to meet daily operational needs.
* Maintain a respectful and compassionate approach in residents' home.
* Follow all WHS and organisational policies.
About You
You'll thrive with us if you have:
* Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or food services (preferred but not essential).
* A flexible and team-focused attitude with willingness to support across departments.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* A compassionate and respectful approach to aged care.
* Physical capability to meet the demands of the role.
* Knowledge of infection control practices (desirable).
* A current National Police Check/NDIS or willingness to obtain one.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
