We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager (Domestic) at the Victorian Institute of Technology.

VIT offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business and information technology., aimed at imparting practical skills and knowledge pertinent to the respective industries.
Position Overview: The Business Development Manager (Domestic) role is instrumental in converting student leads for all of our Higher Education courses, including diploma, bachelor's, graduate certificate, graduate diploma and master's levels.
Your experience and skills in domestic student recruitment will be crucial in broadening our reach, nurturing relationships, and establishing VIT as a frontrunner in the higher education sector. In this role, you will also provide career advice and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service to maintain the highest level of student experience.
Location: Sydney or Melbourne Campus
Type of Employment: 12-month term
Remuneration: OTE package of $100K ($80K Salary + super + bonus)
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Providing course and career advice to prospective students
- Maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
- End-to-end lead conversion
- Delivering customer service excellence
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in B2C & B2B within the Higher education sector
- Knowledge of the Australian educational framework, industry trends, and community needs
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
