The Level 1 - Service Desk Technician is responsible for provisioning PCs and provides 1st Level PC, network and server support to our external clients.
To succeed, you will need to possess good people skills, the ability to build strong relationships with clients and fellow team members, and provide superior customer service with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
You will need to have valuable time management skills, be able to prioritize workloads, and exhibit a high level of initiative, thinking "outside the box" with a commitment to achieving quality results.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- General interest in IT
- Knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft range of operating systems
- Basic network troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of peripherals and computer hardware
Advantageous but not required skills:
- Ability to build and configure a Desktop PC from the ground up
- Ability to record and log all calls, contributing to the IT Documentation and continual improvement of procedures
A driver's license is required for this job.
