We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Ecologist to lead a high-performing freshwater team in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical specialist with leadership experience to shape the future of aquatic consultancy, mentor a talented team, and help deliver projects that make a genuine environmental impact.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aquatic ecology, ideally in a consultancy setting, with strong technical expertise in freshwater survey techniques, water quality assessment, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Prior experience in a leadership role, including responsibility for preparing fee proposals and managing project budgets, is also essential.
As an Aquatic Ecologist, you will be responsible for the strategic and technical leadership of the freshwater ecology team, overseeing project delivery, client relationships, and internal development, maintaining high technical standards across a variety of exciting and impactful projects.
Based in Perth, this is a hybrid remote role. We offer a company pension scheme and other benefits.
