Responsibilities
* Manually wheel out and return kerbside bins for servicing across residential, commercial, or high-traffic city areas.
* Work with driver to safely load bins onto the truck and operate lifting mechanisms as required.
* Communicate with driver to ensure the smooth navigation of tight laneways, complex intersections, or unexpected hazards.
* Perform visual checks of waste contents when required (e.g. contamination identification for recycling or FOGO services).
* Utilise a job allocation tablet (iPad) throughout the shift to manage run sheets, record job completions, and report any collection issues.
* Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times for public safety, especially in densely populated or pedestrian-heavy zones.
* Assist in reporting missed services, blocked access, or issues with bins via onboard tech systems or directly to supervisors.
* Maintain a professional attitude and present in a positive light to the public.
