We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Cement and Stabilisation blends portfolio across NSW, ACT and VIC. This hybrid role combines account management and new business development, focusing on major projects and strategic partnerships.
Your day will involve:
* Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, ensuring service excellence and retention across Metro Sydney, Wollongong, and regional NSW.
* Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities, including tendering for major projects.
* Manage dried sands portfolio for NSW/VIC and stabilisation blends for NSW/ACT.
* Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships and uncover growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams on technical solutions, pricing strategies, and tender submissions.
* Utilise CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
What are we looking for?
* Proven experience in business development and account management within construction materials (cement, concrete, quarries, recycling preferred).
* Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated success within sales roles.
* Skilled in CRM usage and tendering processes. (Salesforce preferred)
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Valid driver's licence and ability to travel regionally.
