Our client is a highly regarded retail group with an impressive pipeline of new greenfield developments.
With strong and sustained growth, our client is looking for a New build- Construction project Manager (Client-Side) to oversee and deliver projects within their retail portfolio.
While prior retail experience is advantageous, it’s not essential – candidates with solid client-side or consultancy project management expertise across the built environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from concept to handover
- Manage consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across design and delivery phases
- Provide regular reporting on program, cost, risk, and quality to internal leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with codes, timelines, budgets, and project expectations
About You
- Strong background in client-side, developer, or consultancy project management
- Experience in new build construction from the ground up
- Highly advantageous if you have worked for a builder as well as a Consultancy, developer or in house role.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Property, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ industry experience
- Demonstrated capability in tender writing and project delivery of new greenfield developments above $40 mil
- Track record delivering new build developments, including greenfield sites
- Must be a hands on person and very much a doer.
- Must have experience dealing with local authorities(Sydney water, government and councils)
- Must be capable of running tenders and deign meetings.
