The role offered is to join our drafting team as a core team member. This role will empower the company and field survey team by meticulously preparing and drafting survey data and survey plans. Being autonomous in this role, you'll be required to calculate and reduce survey data, draft survey plans, and input & calculate survey data in addition to managing your own workload to ensure project deadlines and timeframes are met.
As Survey Draftsperson You Will Be Responsible For
Reducing survey data and preparing survey plans using CAD software.
Prioritizing drafting work and managing your workload.
Carrying out calculations and drafting for construction, building set out work, contour and detail surveys, engineering surveys and ascon surveys.
Drafting and preparing cadastral projects including identification surveys, sub-divisions, BFPs and lease surveys.
Completing quality assurance checks on all projects.
At times you will work autonomously and collaboratively with the other team members from the drafting and survey departments. You will be required to practice diligent quality assurance processes to ensure drafting data and plans are error-free and at a high standard of quality set by the company.
This role is best suited to a candidate with previous experience in survey drafting to a high standard. You will bring your experience and knowledge of construction, survey, and engineering drafting to empower the survey teams. You will be an expert user in AutoCAD, SurvaCAD or Civil3D. The successful candidate will have career progression opportunities and will be adamantly supported. The successful candidate will be provided with training and support to complete the requirements of this role.
This role can be based at our Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast offices. However, working from home/remote working opportunities will be available to the right candidate.
