An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
**Territory Manager** to support our established and high performing
**Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division**.
Based in **South Australia,** this position is responsible for maximising the sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory. Kindly note that this is a 10 month contractual role.
**Primary Job Function**:
- This role is responsible for maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory.
**Core Job Responsibilities**:
- Complete low voltage, high voltage and CRT product certification.
- Achieve sales targets and increase market share for assigned territory.
- Actively implement and execute on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth and sales skills development including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles and sales training.
- Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning.
- Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identify and utilise key customer networks.
- Support implantation, post-operative and clinics of pacemakers, defibrillators & CRT devices within your territory.
- Utilise internal resources to assist servicing customers within your territory.
- Manage your consignment stock.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles.
- Maintain up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs.
- Assist with product marketing and launches.
- Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
- Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.
- Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required.
- Ensure maintenance of company property/assets.
- Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the industry (MTAA) the Abbott Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements.
- Handle and document customer complaints according to Abbott ANZ Field Event Reporting Standard Operating Procedure.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of and commitment to Work, Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Action any other customer complaints with relevant Abbott ANZ Business Unit.
- Execute the position and Business Unit responsibilities according to applicable Abbott ANZ Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform other related functions and responsibilities as directed by Manager.
**Position Accountability / Scope**:
- Achieve sales targets and increase market share for assigned territory.
**Minimum Education**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) is essential.
**Minimum Experience and Skills**:
- Good understanding of the industry process and function
- Ability to convincingly discuss the industry process and function with customers, as well as internal and external experts.
- IBHRE Certified preferred
