We're looking for a Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer to join our dynamic Airframe Structures Team in Brisbane or Sydney. About The Opportunity
We're looking for a Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer to join our dynamic Airframe Structures Team in Brisbane or Sydney. What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you'll be a proactive and collaborative engineer with a solid foundation in aerospace materials and process. You'll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a high-performing team in a continuous improvement environment.
We're Looking For Someone Who Demonstrates
* 5+ years of hands-on aerospace M&P experience covering repair or new designs. This includes strong:
o knowledge of aerospace materials including composites, aluminium, titanium, steel and corrosion resistance alloys and their manufacturing processes such as heat treatment and forming
o knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques, adhesives and other polymer materials
o familiarity with typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as MIL specs, SAE, etc
o troubleshooting & investigation skills
o attention to detail in the on-going support, and new development of, publications and processes related to M&P
* Good understanding of Continued and Continuing airworthiness
* Familiarity with applicable aviation legislation and regulations (e.g., DASR, EASA, CASA, FAA, Transport Canada) and industry best practices.
* A Bachelor of Materials Engineering/Science or equivalent
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build lasting, collaborative relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
