Therapy Assistant - Lifestyle Program Coordinator
We are seeking a qualified Therapy Assistant to facilitate therapy and lifestyle programs for our residents at an aged care home. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by supporting their physical and emotional well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people of all abilities and backgrounds, and be able to adapt to a dynamic environment where every day is different. You will work closely with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to implement therapy and lifestyle programs that cater to the unique needs of our residents.
This role requires someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and able to think independently. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, both paper-based and computer-based, and communicating clearly with care recipients, families, and team members. A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) is essential for this role, as well as previous experience in a therapy assistant role, ideally in an aged care or other healthcare environment.
