What’s the role? The Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) is looking for a motivated and experienced Structured Finance professional to join our Corporate and Institutional Bank’s (CIB) debt product team. In this client-facing role, you will be focussed on providing Structured Finance (SF) solutions to our corporate and institutional banking customers and will deliver credit analysis, structuring, negotiating and documentation on a wide variety of complex deals. You will collaborate and create sustainable relationships with senior debt product colleagues, internal coverage, analyst, and legal departments to provide the highest level of service to our valued clients. You will also identify prospective SF opportunities with customers that lead to new business, including preparation of marketing materials and terms sheet. What do I need? Extensive credit experience working with C&IB clients that have a bias towards financing through Securitisation and or Structured Finance markets in Australia. Technical knowledge in financial modelling, complex credit analysis, legal, tax and/or accounting. Proven ability to work in small deal teams and credit, legal, relationship managers and other key stakeholders with influence, under tight timeframes and other undefined constraints to successfully execute transactions. Recent experience in RMBS/ABS activity. E nergy and willingness to contribute to building new products and ventures. Formal qualifications in quantitative disciplines such as accounting, finance, engineering, actuarial studies etc will be well regarded. Why join the Structured Finance team?
