SA Pathology is seeking a skilled engineering professional to support the Manager, Engineering Services in shaping departmental strategy.
In this senior leadership role, you will develop operational plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with SA Pathology's mission and goals. You will also lead a team of staff, contractors, and consultants, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement departmental strategies and operational plans;
* Lead and manage a team of staff, contractors, and consultants;
* Foster strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with SA Pathology's mission and goals;
* Manage complex projects and maintain high service standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Appropriate degree in engineering with extensive experience in maintaining and repairing complex biomedical and electromechanical systems;
* Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage people, resources, and business activities effectively;
* Comprehensive knowledge of biomedical device operation, relevant standards, codes of practice, and South Australian legislative requirements.
