What You Bring
* Supervisory & Leadership Skills - Ability to support and supervise drivers and floor staff where required
* Strong Organisational Skills - Confident in planning loads, allocating resources, and managing rosters
* Attention to Detail - Ensuring all consignments, PODs, and paperwork are accurate and completed correctly
* Compliance & Safety Focus - Understanding (or willingness to learn) Safe Operating Procedures, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue, and mass requirements
* Clear Communicator - Comfortable liaising between office staff, drivers, and warehouse teams
* Resilience & Accountability - Able to manage performance, priorities, and pressure in a live operational environment
What You\'ll Do
* Operations & Supervision - Assist the Shift and Operations Manager with supervision of drivers and floor staff
* Freight & Delivery Management - Ensure all deliveries occur on time and within designated delivery windows
* Load Planning & Allocation - Plan and build compliant loads and allocate drivers, staff, and equipment effectively
* Compliance & Safety Oversight - Monitor fatigue, mass, and Chain of Responsibility in line with legislative requirements
* Documentation & POD Management - Oversee retrieval, imaging, and submission of all POD documentation
* Paperwork & Charging Accuracy - Work with Operations and Administration to ensure all inbound consignments are correctly documented and charged
* Team Coordination - Act as the link between office and floor staff to ensure correct loading and freight allocation
* People Management - Roster floor staff, manage performance, and participate in performance discussions
