Decarbonisation Strategist Leader
Job Description
Australasian non-profit advocacy and research organisation seeks a skilled Decarbonisation Strategist to lead a small team driving coordinated multi-stakeholder decarbonisation strategies for sector value chains. The successful candidate will ensure seamless coordination of resources, priorities, and timeframes to maximise emissions reduction impact. Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive decarbonisation strategies for sector value chains (Steel, Oil & Gas, Power).
* Maintain effective internal relationships to support the development of research, communications, and investor engagement plans.
* Contribute to ACCR's overall strategy development, including reporting to funders and evaluating impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven experience in managing staff effectively within complex teams.
* Ability to develop and execute sophisticated advocacy strategies.
* Demonstrated expertise in financial/corporate sector relations or heavy-emitting industries/climate change/shareholder advocacy fields.
