Corporate Development Analyst | Mining (M&A) Our client ASX listed mining development and exploration company focused on precious and base metals.
The opportunity Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development and working closely with the Executive Leadership team.
As Analyst, you will play a pivotal role supporting the management and execution of the company's growth strategy, focused on key activities across all aspects of corporate development and investor relations.
Key responsibilities include: The analysis and evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and investment opportunities Preparation and presentation of reports and business cases to senior management and Board of Directors Conducting thorough due diligence processes including risk mitigation and structuring of debt/equity financing Oversee the company data room to support transactions and valuation activities Co-ordinate communication materials (market announcements, corporate presentations, media releases etc) Assist in the development of investor relation strategies About you To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working in a similar corporate development role, investment banking, transactions / valuations advisory or private equity.
Ideally you will have: Bachelor's Degree; Commerce, Economics, Business, Law and/or Engineering 3 - 6 years of related finance work experience Advanced Excel skills, financial modelling Strong understanding of practical valuation concepts within the mining sector Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Track record of supporting execution of deals in the mining sector Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills How to apply Applicants must have full working rights for Australia in place to be considered for this opportunity.
