At Belconnen Refrigeration Services, we install high-quality commercial refrigerant piping for VRF systems. We pride ourselves on premium workmanship, strong client relationships, and a team culture built on professionalism, accountability, and pride in what we do.
We're looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd year Apprentice to join our team.
About the Role
You'll work alongside experienced technicians across a wide variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in:
* Installation of commercial VRF air conditioning systems and associated pipework (primary)
* Servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance of HVAC systems
* Experience working across both commercial sites and residential projects
* Commercial refrigeration and cool room construction
This is an opportunity to build real skills in the field while learning from a highly capable, supportive team.
The work is predominantly on large construction sites within the ACT, but also includes travel opportunities to Sydney and New Zealand for large scale projects.

Essential Requirements
* Currently undertaking (or about to start) Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
* Valid driver's licence (Manual)
* Construction White Card
* Asbestos Awareness certification
* Silica Awareness / Prevention training
* Working Safely with Asbestos certification
* Ability to obtain a Refrigerant Handling Licence (if not already held)
* Willingness to obtain a Police Check and/or Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card as required for certain sites
* Ability to complete physical work (e.g. lifting, working at heights, outdoor conditions)
Highly Regarded
* Previous industry or trade experience (even if limited)
