Adjacent to a major referral hospital for the region, the Cancer Centre serves a population of approximately 250,000 people across Northern Tasmania.
The facility has recently undergone a major redevelopment, with state of the art radiation therapy equipment and a 16 chair chemotherapy unit.You will be joining a team of five Radiation Oncologists, supported by a Career Medical Officer, junior medical staff, and a specialised nursing team, on the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and integrated cancer care services.
You will deliver exceptional specialist and subspecialty care to oncology patients and public hospital outpatients, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and techniques, including SBRT (2025), DIBH, IMRT, VMAT, 4DCT, and 3D planning.
You will have opportunities for collaboration with statewide oncology teams, clinical trials, and research.
