Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team on an iconic public infrastructure project in Fremantle, Western Australia. This role will be responsible for the contract administration of packages and ensuring that commercial risks are managed effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, as well as previous experience working in a similar role for major construction contracting companies. They will also possess excellent technical and negotiation skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the procurement of subcontractors, preparing and issuing agreements, and recommending awarding agreements with detailed input from engineering and construction teams.
* Prepare and submit progress claims and ensure timely payment.
* Manage subcontractors, receiving and processing interim payment claims and final accounts.
* Process claims for variations and additional entitlements to time and money.
* Prepare, submit, and agree contractual claims for time and money.
* Manage and participate in the preparation, submission, and agreement of variations.
* Advise the project management team on contractual issues and initiate correspondence.
* Prepare, review, and submit reports to prescribed timescales (including equipment and cost reports).
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Law, or Construction Management.
* Previous experience in a similar role with major construction contracting companies.
* Able to measure.
* High level of technical and negotiation skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise confidently with various internal and external stakeholders.
