Now seeking an Account Director to join the Melbourne team. This is a senior client facing role where you will drive business development across existing clients, strengthen relationships, and oversee successful outcomes from early engagement through to project close-out.
As Account Director, you will:
Manage and deliver sector accounts with clear business development strategies.
Partner closely with the Project Director, Senior Project Managers and Commercial team to shape strategy and execution.
Leverage client and market insights to identify new business opportunities.
Develop pitch strategies, lead bid activities and close deals with a win–win approach.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, supported by CRM records.
Represent the company at industry forums, panels and networking events.
Ensure projects achieve high standards of quality, service, safety, and commercial outcomes.
You are a proven industry leader with the ability to combine technical credibility and commercial acumen with a strong client focus.You will bring:
15+ years’ experience in the building and construction industry.
A track record of shaping and executing commercial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Proven ability to close complex deals, balance client needs with commercial outcomes, and deliver win–win solutions.
Established and credible client, consultant, and contractor relationships across multiple sectors.
Business development skills, with experience in account growth, pitching, and converting opportunities.
The commercial acumen to align project delivery with financial performance and client value.
A collaborative and influential leadership style, leveraging the strengths of PDs, SPMs and the wider team.
Confidence representing your organisation at industry events, panels and forums.
