Our NSW State Government client is committed to providing mobile health services for the community of NSW.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a Business Improvement Manager to join their team in Gladesville. This is an estimated 6month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.
Working within the Infrastructure & Asset Service Business Unit, you will be required to support the Executive Director Finance & Corporate Services in measuring, consolidating, reporting and evaluating the organisations efficiency improvement program. The role will be required to develop strong partnerships with senior management to develop in depth knowledge of efficiency improvement programs, introduce efficiency measurements to provide accurate and reliable reporting
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Identify and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to promote and strengthen the efficiency improvement program
- Act as the interface between finance and operations
- Create management reports to communicate complex information into simple everyday language
- Identify ways to report financial systems performance
- Perform best practice benchmark gap analysis
- Conduct ongoing research and benchmark against best practice
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the development and updating of process documentation and work instructions
- Provide feedback and development guidance to help others excel in their current responsibilities
- Promote workforce culture of ongoing self-assessment, efficiency improvement and change management
- Act as the Executive's point of contact, liaising with stakeholders
- Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with Departmental policies and procedures
**About you**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:
- Demonstrated Business or Efficiency Improvement experience
- Project management experience essential
- Health or NSW Public Sectors experience highly advantageous
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MS office Suite, Oracle and SAP
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
