We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and providing expert advice on accounting matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
* Manage the company's accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Assist with the preparation of the company's annual budget and monitor budget performance.
* Provide financial advice and support to management on strategic decisions.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or CA qualification.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management accounting or financial control role, preferably within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in using Xero accounting software, with strong / advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft products.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
