Our Audiologist Role
This role involves supporting and empowering clients by assessing their auditory needs, providing rehabilitative support, and referring them to other professionals when necessary.
* Assess the auditory problems of non-complex adult clients using established practice methods and standards.
* Provide rehabilitative support including hearing aid fittings, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories, and/or communication strategies as required.
You will also participate in delivering services at visiting sites and home visits. This includes liaising with healthcare agencies and families/carers to ensure best outcomes for each client.
You must have a tertiary qualification in audiology. A full membership with the Audiology Society is essential. You should possess sound knowledge of clinical audiology procedures according to Australian standards., along with exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency schemes.
