Job Title: Hospitality Worker
Location: K Town Hotel, 11 Third Street, Katherine, NT
Employment Type: Full-time [Around 50 to 55 hours per week, including weekend]
Salary: 65,000 to 72000

Reports To: Hotel Manager / Operations Supervisor
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Hospitality Worker to join our team at our integrated hospitality business, which includes a hotel, restaurant, and laundry service. The ideal candidate will be flexible and capable of performing a variety of duties across different areas of the operation, ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Operations:
* Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
* Provide information about local attractions, hotel amenities, and services
* Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas to a high standard
* Replenish room supplies, change linens, and report maintenance issues
* Monitor guest feedback and ensure excellent service delivery
Restaurant Duties:
* Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders and serving meals
* Set up and clean dining areas before and after service
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms
* Handle basic food prep tasks under supervision (if required)
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards
* Provide a friendly and welcoming dining experience for guests
Laundry Services:
* Collect, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry
* Operate commercial laundry machines safely and efficiently
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
* Identify and report any damaged or missing items
* Keep an inventory of linen supplies and restock as needed
General Duties:
* Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
* Follow health and safety procedures
* Assist with stock control and deliveries when required
* Perform other duties as directed by supervisors or management
Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, food service, or laundry (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
* Physical fitness – able to stand for long periods, lift items, and work in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and across various shifts
* Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
