Veterinary Nurse – Internal Medicine

We provide a wide range of specialist services alongside a 24/7 emergency and critical care service. Our mission is simple: to deliver the highest standard of patient care. We're now seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, dynamic team in Internal Medicine.
About You
You're passionate about patient care and thrive in a role where no two shifts are the same. You're organised, adaptable, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator who can multitask in a fast-paced setting.
You will ideally have:
* Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
* Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (specialty nursing experience highly regarded)
* A passion for Internal Medicine
* High standards, attention to detail, and honesty
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of Rx Works / Smart Flow (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
* Inpatient treatments and care
* Patient recovery and monitoring
* IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
* Blood collection and use of in-house lab equipment
* Anaesthesia
* Radiology (including CT & MRI imaging)
* Assisting with specialty ultrasonography
* Equipment cleaning and maintenance
