Graphic Designer
Our client is a Sydney based homewear and lifestyle brand, that has successfully grown their brand across Australasia.
This is a fantastic role for a Senior Designer to join the 20-strong team, in a kind and caring family-style environment. An excellent hybrid role, working 2 days in-house / 3 remote. Their office is located in the Inner South Sydney area.
Working closely with the Creative Director, you will work across a wide range of design projects – print, packaging, content, social. You will have a great eye for editorial design and social first content creation. You will help lead the execution of campaign, social, and eComm creative, concepting everything from social assets to premium packaging and pitch decks. You are an ideas-led designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, is excited by performance-driven design, and is confident working across a wide range of creative outputs. You are also happy to roll up your sleeves and take a project from concept to completion, whether that is a scroll-stopping Instagram ad or a branded sales deck.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of creative assets for product releases, sale campaigns, social media and performance marketing, eDMs, eCommerce, packaging, editorial, and more.
Develop innovative, high-impact creative for Meta ads, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms with an instinct for what performs in a digital-first landscape.
Collaborate closely with the wider Content Marketing team, working independently with copywriters to develop, concept and pitch innovative digital content ideas.
Take full ownership of design projects, from briefing through to final delivery, including internal sales decks, wholesale lookbooks, and other marketing collateral.
Participate in creative planning for campaign shoots and videos, with an understanding of how to translate visual concepts into on-brand assets.
Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance to junior creatives.
Share inspiration regularly with the team and stay across industry trends in design, culture, interiors, and fashion. Actively contribute to team brainstorms and creative sessions with fresh, forward-thinking ideas.
Uphold and evolve the brand's visual identity across all channels, bringing consistency, modernity, and innovation to every asset.
Your Experience:
5+ years experience in a graphic design or art direction role, ideally within eCommerce, fashion, editorial, or lifestyle brands.
A strong portfolio of brand-led creative work, with a clear emphasis on social-first design and performance content.
Excellent visual storytelling ability and understanding of what captures attention in a fast-scrolling environment.
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator a must), Figma, and digital content production tools.
Animation and video editing skills preferred.
Experience in designing for performance marketing and an understanding of creative effectiveness across channels like Meta, TikTok, and email.
Comfort designing both static and motion assets, and a willingness to adapt design for multiple formats, audiences and platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of design.
Self-starter with initiative, ability to work independently and push creative forward without always needing a detailed brief.
