Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior civil engineer to join our Geelong office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys both technical design leadership and mentoring this role you will :
* Deliver civil engineering designs independently across all stages - concept functional and detailed design.
* Lead the design and delivery of land development and infrastructure projects including residential and industrial subdivisions road networks drainage systems and utility services.
* Act as a design lead coordinating with colleagues across disciplines and external stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes for our clients.
* Provide people leadership by mentoring coaching and supporting junior engineers and designers fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
* Manage scope and budget ensuring efficient and cost-effective project delivery in partnership with project managers.
* Contribute to our philosophy of One Team working closely with other disciplines and offices across Spiire to achieve integrated project outcomes.
Skills And Experiences
About You
Were looking for a senior engineer who is passionate about delivering excellent technical outcomes for clients and supporting a team. You will bring :
* A Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* Significant experience in land development and / or infrastructure design.
* Strong technical capability in subdivision design drainage earthworks and services coordination.
* Proven ability to lead design delivery manage projects and engage confidently with clients authorities and contractors.
* A collaborative mindset aligned with Spiires integrated service model and commitment to community outcomes.
* Mentoring or leadership experience with an interest in developing the next generation of engineers.
