Child Development Specialist
The Child Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education, care, and development to children and families engaged with the service. As a key member of the team, they provide comprehensive support to the Team Leader and other colleagues to ensure seamless execution of programs tailored to the unique needs of the children.
About the Role
* The Specialist assists in planning, preparing, and implementing programs that cater to the diverse learning styles of children attending our Congress Child Care facility.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Children's Services or proof of enrollment within three months of commencing employment.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply information about child development, translating it into practical applications that enhance children's growth.
* Strong communication skills, including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
* A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
* An exceptional ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles, promoting inclusivity and academic success.
