Job Description
As a Graduate Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our team focusing on cybersecurity threat analysis and response.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, identifying potential threats and recommending fixes.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate responses and ensure effective communication.
* Produce clear reports and quality-check playbooks and documentation to maintain high standards.
* Develop strong working relationships with peers and clients to foster smooth teamwork and support.
* Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity trends and contribute to improving tools and processes.
* Work flexible hours, including overnight and weekend shifts as required.
* Rotate through various roles such as Security Engineer, Security Analyst, Threat Analyst, and Intelligence Analyst over an 18-month graduate program.
Requirements
* A final-year student or recent graduate in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (graduating by early 2026).
* Proven leadership skills through work, internships, or extracurricular activities.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively in team settings.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
* Strong presentation and client-facing skills, committed to delivering quality service outcomes.
* A problem-solving mindset with experience evaluating security incidents and crafting thoughtful responses.
* A self-driven learner excited by cybersecurity, proficient in MS Office and digital tools.
* Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
