Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Distribution. Based in Epping, VIC, the Head of Distribution will oversee daily operations related to logistics, warehouse management, and order fulfillment. Responsibilities include managing relationships with business partners, leading distribution teams, optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety and insurance standards, and contributing to sales strategy. The role demands strong leadership and organizational skills to maintain and enhance Timbecon's commitment to reliable and efficient service.
Qualifications
* Proven skills in Business Relationship Management and Sales to build and maintain partner relationships effectively.
* Strong capabilities in Team Management and leadership to guide and develop high-performing distribution teams.
* Demonstrated experience in Logistics Management, with a focus on streamlining processes and ensuring timely delivery.
* Understanding of Insurance and compliance requirements specific to distribution operations.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems and relevant software tools is an advantage.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience in the woodworking or tools industry is a plus.
