**The Role**: 
Positions in Rochester, Seymour, Echuca and Shepparton
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Monitor JLG compliances with WHSE legal obligations, industry standards & Australian standards 
- Implement, maintain & update all project specific WHSE plans and safety systems (Hammertech) 
- Liaise with regulatory authorities on matters of health, safety & environmental compliance, as directed by the HSE National Manager 
- Ensure a standard risk management approach is implemented across JLG in all WHSE activities 
- Manage and oversee induction processes for contractors and staff 
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations on matters of health & safety 
- Incident investigation & emergency management response 
- Support the Regional Operations Manager to deliver the program in a safe, sustainable and efficient manner 
- Oversee the management and lead a team of HSE Advisors to attend project sites to ensure safety compliance and overall delivery of the program 
- Manage other responsibilities as required by the business
**Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge**:
- Qualification in Work Health & Safety, essential (minimum Certificate IV in H&S;) 
- Previous experience in the Building and Construction industry 
- Proven knowledge of environmental and health impact in construction industry 
- Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders 
- Superior communication skills, both written & verbal 
- Results driven & adaptable 
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail 
- Ability to manage multiple/competing priorities & make quick decisions 
- Problem solving & process implementation skills 
- Ability to analyse & interpret data, laws & regulations 
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint 
- Valid driver licence 
- Construction White Card 
- Working with Children Check (preferred or to undertake during employment)
