Tall Timbers Manjimup Pty Ltd t/a Tall Timbers Manjimup (located at 88 Giblet Street, Manjimup, WA 6258) is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team in a full time role working 38 hours per week in regional WA.
Applicants must have a relevant Diploma plus one-year full-time relevant experience or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate all daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, smooth workflow, and a consistently high standard of presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience from opening through closing.
* Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise both front-of-house and back-of-house staff, providing ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and leadership to maintain a motivated and productive team.
* Manage the full dining experience by welcoming guests, handling reservations, assisting with service when required, and actively gathering customer feedback to continuously improve food quality and service standards.
* Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to design and update menus, monitor food and beverage preparation, and ensure consistency, quality control, and appealing presentation aligned with business standards.
* Plan and coordinate special functions, events, and catering services, ensuring all operational, staffing, and customer requirements are met to a high standard.
* Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and manage purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies, while controlling costs, minimising waste, and ensuring availability of all operational necessities.
* Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, pricing strategies, cost control, cash handling, point-of-sale reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial and inventory records to support business performance.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations by maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities, enforcing procedures, and keeping documentation current and audit-ready.
