You will join a team of Risk Management specialists in the Operational and Strategic Risk team as part of the Risk Management and Compliance Department at the RBA.
As a Risk Advisor for Third Party Risk, you will provide Line 2 risk and controls assurance support in Third-Party / Vendor Risk Management. You will engage business leaders at the enterprise level of the organisation to support the identification, analysis and management of Third Party Risks and Controls across the Bank.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the both the Bank's risk management framework and risk management capabilities across the organisation. This includes providing risk advisory and support to Line 2 and Line 1 staff within the Bank. Essential to the role will be your ability to collaborate with your team and engage stakeholders at all levels (including senior stakeholders). Your solid ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills in both data analysis and written management reports, and to work independently and meet deadlines across multiple work streams will be essential in the position.
Your Background- Experience in providing Line 2 risk and controls assurance support in Third-Party / Vendor Risk Management.- Ability to provide support in supporting emerging / strategic risk areas.- Undertake systemic reviews / deep dives of the implementation of frameworks, obligations, operational risks, controls, and processes across the enterprise to ensure risk third party risk is managed within appetite.- Understanding of Commonwealth Government Financial Management Framework including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act), Commonwealth Procurement Rules will be preferred.- Comprehensive review and uplift of risks & controls related to third-party management.- Data analysis and review including incident reporting.- Assurance review may include third-party changes against regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures and incorporate change to ensure regulatory compliance.- Strong analytical thinking, positive interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
