What You'll Be Doing
You'll provide trusted, respectful support to Elders helping them live safely and comfortably at home and in community.
* Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and other household tasks.
* Transportation and Personal Care: Assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding, etc.
* Client Awareness: Build relationships with clients and their families, conduct client observations with ongoing support and training.
* Safety Practices: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and customers safe.
Who We're Looking For
* A compassionate, respectful, and reliable carer.
* Holds a valid Australian driver's licence and has a reliable car.
* Brings empathy, cultural awareness and a willingness to learn.
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
* Non‐Aboriginal carers committed to culturally safe care are also welcome.
* Both experienced and entry‐level carers encouraged to apply.
Experience and Qualifications

* Community Services/Mental Health worker
* Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
